When we first moved onto Bransholme in 1969 the no 36 bus trip was horrendous. You took a deep breath at Cleveland street and exhaled at Leads road. Apart from Reckitts colours and the oil refineries we had Rawsons pig farm and a fish manure factory. The stench was unbearable.
