Oooh Medsec I thought I was the only person who enjoyed a good mild. Can`t seem to get it now in the pubs. We did find a pub near Pickering that had it`s own brewery and made about 5 different milds. Naturally I tried them all, all were wonderful! Long way to go for a night out though.

Are there no CAMRA pubs still on the go in Hull, because they always had a rather rich variety of different beers and ales on offer. There used to be s few of the pubs in the old town but I haven't been able to go out on the booze for some time now so I have lost track. Good luck in your search, Tiger.

There`s probably quite a few Alan, I don`t go out much. I know we went out with friends about 12 years ago and called into Haworth Arms. The lad behind the bar looked about 12 and when I asked if they had any mild he replied `What`. Most of the popular pubs seem to cater for the lager brigade. It`s not like it was when I were a young `en!
