| As you will all know,a fellow went crazy a few nights back and shot a lot of people,but my mrs says that is no reason to take coronation street off air,all the explaining in the world coud not alter her mind,now i find im getting earache too,anyone else think its wrong.  | |

| Fear Not Mrs Fozz, ITV have announced that extra episodes of the popular soap will be screened next week.
On the subject of soaps and the knock on effect of true crime incidents. BBC announced that Eastenders had filmed alternate scenes after the Bradford "Crossbow Killer" murdered several prostitutes in the region. In the show Lucas was to strangle a lady of the night, however, it has been refilmed so that the murder is suggested and not on screen.
On the subject of showing material relating to the incidents, BBC was blasted yesterday after it aired a radio program about a fictional shooting! | |

| I couldn't understand why they replaced an episode of 'Corry' with Harry Hill? To me, this was in more bad taste than actually airing the actual scheduled episode. | |

| Well I must be heartless too because I was gutted when they took Corrie off. I`m sure the people that have been effected by the terrible events in Cumbria won`t have been watching telly anyway. | |

| I think the makers of these soaps take their product far too seriously. After all, these programmes are fiction and not real life. I could not understand why Coronation Street was not aired as normal. Does it mean that from now on if somebody dies of a heart attack then the TV companies will be expected to alter their scheduling because they may upset the relatives of the person who had the heart attack? Of course it doesn't......I know that. As a cynical old beggar I think they only pulled the programme to get everybody discussing it....and it worked didn't it...Look at us! | |

| It would not have suprised me one little bit if while the news was giving live interviews in the town it happened,that harry hill diddnt keep popping up and pulling faces  | |
