Is there anyone else who can make that thing spin in two directions? I find I can, just by thinking about it. Being ambidextrous, I can draw and write simultaneously with both hands, but I never realised I could do this latest trick.

If you google "the spinning dancer" all will be revealed. In my case I can get the girl spinning left or right full 360 degrees, and, which I find fascinating, I can get her to oscillate left to right in 180 degree turns, but I'm a clever bugger. Very Happy

Medsec, it was a banner advert, on this site, showing a Ballerina in silhouette spinning on the spot. It asked if you are left or right brained (did she spin left or right). She was performing a turn rising from her flat foot, with a bent knee, as her free leg is extended to her front, then whipped around to spin her on the spot. I was astonished to find that I could make her spin either way, just by thinking about it. It was, like all of these types of adverts, very irritating, I did not respond to its nonsense and am glad its gone.

The mind plays tricks all the time. A few months back we were walking along the Hull to Hornsea track at night, and saw a face in the trees. I knew that it could be nothing more than the trees and out position, but even through the view finder it looked like a face. I took several snaps, but as we got closer the trees returned back to looking like trees and the images showed nothing more than trees, but for a few minutes I had convinced myself it was a face in the trees looking back at us.
